Don't get me wrong, I can talk for hours...and will easily be able to type for hours as well. I don't however always feel that what I have to share means anything to anyone else. But to me it is important to get this out, to sort through this mess.
For this reason I've been a fan of journaling. But I HATE writing without being able to erase or correct an error and I can't spell to save my life.
Also, the idea of having an online record of the thoughts, struggles, and challenges that I face is an interesting way for me to one day share all of this with Evelyn. I am afraid that over time I'll forget the things I've experienced and will never be able to share this with her when she's a woman. After having numerous nightmares about her facing the same things one day I realized how much I want to capture all of this for her.
One day, while considering this blogging thing, I realized too that this would be a "safe place" for me to do this. Facebook is scary. When I share, I'm honest, and vulnerable. I don't feel like I need people to reply, and I don't want the full-time job of reading comments and responding. So I think I'll turn that part of this off...?
And so, I find myself a "blogger"...and I really hate that I am. I wish that I were boring, with a very mundane, ho-hum life and not a single interesting thing to say...
